Celebration Consultations
Paula is happy to discuss the theme of your event and will help create a bespoke stunning centre piece especially for you.
Each cake is a one off and is created with each client's event in mind.
During your cake consultation Paula will draw up a sketch impression of how your cake will look, cakes can be inspired by your room decoration, stationary or party theme.
Wedding Consultations
Before paying your deposit a wedding consultation will be arranged to include a complimentary tea and cake tasting.
At this stage you can discuss with Paula the style of your wedding, number of people to cater for and ask Paula for ideas.
Approximately four months before the date of the wedding a further consultation with the bride and groom will take place to clarify colour schemes and stationary. Please bring a colour swatch at this stage if a particular colour is required to be added to your design.
Payment Terms
To confirm your date in the diary a non refundable deposit of £100 for wedding cakes, and from £25 for celebration cakes is required.
Deposits are deducted from the final cake price.
The final Balance needs to be paid four weeks prior to the wedding date, failure to pay by this date will result in a break in contract and loss of deposit.
Cheques, Bank Transfers and Cash are all acceptable payment terms.
Wedding Set Up Fee
A set up fee from £30 is charged depending of the style of the cake; including free delivery within a 5 mile radius.
Venues further than 5 mile radius from Sutton Coldfield, please check with Paula for delivery rates.
Paula can only accept liability for the condition of cakes up to the point of delivery/collection.
Cake Flavours To Order:
Vanilla Sponge
A moist traditional sponge filled with raspberry preserve and generous helpings of buttercream.
All Butter Fruit Cake
Fed liberally with brandy & sherry before icing and marzipan is used to to cover.
Rich Milk Chocolate Cake
Made with the finest of ingredients, this moist light chocolate cake is filled will generous helpings of milk chocolate butter filling.
Best Carrot Cake Ever
A very moist carrot cake made with finely grated carrots, with a hint of cinnamon and filled with lashings of orange butter cream. * Walnuts can be added at your request.
Lemon Drizzle Cake
Freshly squeezed lemons make this sponge just gorgeous. Drizzled with a lemon syrup before filling with a lemon preserve and a tangy lemon icing.
Chocolate Orange Cake
Rich milk chocolate cake with a gentle orange zest a favourite of many brides
Red Velvet Cake
A sponge cake with a twist - a beautiful velvet red colour - particularly popular to match a red colour schemes.
